Cabbage, as a kid I hated it but over the years I’ve started to like it more and more. Perhaps it’s because I’m looking for great ideas to share with you that I get to see some rather creative recipes. When I grew up, cabbage was boiled until flavourless and was part of the ‘meat and two veg’ serving that was dinner. These days, thankfully, we are exposed to cuisines from around the world. It’s great to discover new exciting ways cooking things we thought were dull and boring!
I’ve found three great recipes that use cabbage but are much more interesting and definitely worth trying out. I particularly like the stuffed rolls from ‘Jenny Can Cook’. The preparation may be a bit daunting but worth it in the end. For something slightly easier, try the ‘sweet cabbage soup’, easier still is the recipe from Gary Rhodes.
