Gino D’Acampo: Bruschetta Classica


A wonderfully tasty classic recipe today from chef Gino D’Acampo – Bruschetta Classica. This dish is found at most Italian restaurants and can be made very easily at home. A great dish to make as a starter with a great combination of tomatoes and basil and lovely ciabatta bread. You should be able to find ciabatta at most supermarkets.

As usual Gino is very entertaining and starts off by advising us how we should pronounce Bruschetta! Such a simple dish for a summer’s evening…


  • Ciabatta bread, sliced
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Plum tomatoes, on the vine
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil
  • Clove of garlic
